Studio + Shoppe Tour
Our location tells the story of Lindsey Grace Interiors and I’m excited to share the details of it all. Our little corner of the world in Fargo, ND is a space where we are able to create, strategize and dream up possibilities. It’s a space our small but mighty team pours their hearts into everyday, and a space that our clients come to feel at home while theirs is “In Progress”.
We are so grateful for these walls
While this space has always felt like home, it’s actually our second studio space and first shoppe location. When we were approached to move to a new location I knew I wanted to open up our brand to the community we had been serving for seven years prior in a way that felt intentional and still honored our quality, high-end design work. We’ve always had the goal of creating Refined Design for Everyday Living, which encompasses our approachable but refined style.
We knew what worked for our team when designing our second studio space. We lean towards a collaborative work environment with minimal private office space, and spend countless hours meeting with clients and builders around our well-loved table. Our studio kitchenette is the heart of our space (just like our clients’ homes) and serves many purposes.
Our front kitchen area is a space we can showcase our authentic design style - which is crisp, clean and inviting. We meet with many industry partners, enjoy a cup of coffee at the island, browse design inspiration, the occasional happy hour glass of wine and work on inventory orders. With the addition of our shoppe, it also serves as the landing spot for check-out or custom order preparation.
The shoppe spans the front of our space, featuring large windows that look out on 45th Street. I aimed to use this area to display our style and invite people in. I designed the shoppe to offer our furniture and accessories as a welcoming luxury for everyone. The idea was to essentially flip our back storage room full of amazing items, and make it a beautiful storefront display.
Since we utilize our shoppe as a main resource the inventory is always revolving and constant display of what we as designers are loving. It’s our go to spot for gifting, client styling projects, finishing touches and refreshes.
Our studio remains our favorite space to collaborate and create, and our shoppe is our little slice of retail heaven that we get to share.
