Project Reveal | Edgewood Farmhouse

While each project is near and dear to our hearts, there’s nothing quite like completing a new construction home from the ground up. I love working with clients from start to finish- simplifying the process and never missing a detail. The Edgewood Farmhouse is our most recently completed new build. In collaboration with the wonderful homeowners and EPIC Homes this home came together beautifully. The open floor plan is perfect for a busy, growing family. The finishes are the perfect balance of warm and cool tones. We are so excited to share this home with you!

The kitchen compliments the white millwork through out the home with a custom alder stain, on shaker wood doors. The black fixtures and shiplap hood detail perfectly compliment the modern farmhouse feel and can be seen through out the entire home.

The great room mirrors the kitchen with a custom fireplace design complete with a stained wood mantle, red brick surround, and open floating shelving. Even though we spent months designing, reviewing floor plans, and completing walk throughs- I was truly amazed at how bright and spacious the main area of the home felt once completed.

One of our favorite parts in the details of the finishes in this home is the subtle but beautiful use of pattern. In one of the guest bathrooms, we used a white ceramic scallop tile with contrasting grout. The laundry room flooring has a fun pattern flooring. Who wouldn’t want to do laundry in a space like this one?!

One of the most functional spaces in the Edgewood Farmhouse is by far the mudroom- which has locker storage and a drop zone. It’s also adjacent to the laundry room which has plenty of counter space paired with cubbies for each member of the family to have their own laundry basket.
